NBE Basketball is reporting that Brice Kofane, a six-foot-eight power forward from the Miller School in Virginia, committed to Providence. Kofane isn't unfamiliar to local fans as he starred at last summer's Hoop Mountain Super Week II Camp and also ran with the Albany City Rocks at a select few local tournaments. Nate Vernon, the 6'’5"” Suffield Academy sharpshooter ended his recruitment on Monday, as he called Assistant Coach Ryan Mee to commit to the University of Rochester. Jordon Bronner, a six-foot point guard from Iona Prep in New York, committed to New Hampshire this weekend at the conclusion of his official visit to the school. Bronner also saw recruitment from places like Monmouth, Wagner, and Vermont. In November, ESPN rated Boston University's incoming recruiting class as the best in the America East. Well it just got a little better.
First year head coach Pat Chambers landed a verbal commitment from seven-footer Mat Piotrowski on Wednesday. Piotrowski starred for the Lawrenceville School in New Jersey this year and is rated as an upper echelon mid-major player by ESPN.com.
Piotrowski also had interest from Stanford, St. Mary's, Cornell, Tulane, and Eastern Tennessee.

Maine Central Institute forward Steven Roundtree made is heading to the Summit League to play for head coach Scott Sutton at Oral Roberts. Markus Kennedy will be spending one more year at the Winchendon School before heading to Villanova, Winchendon head coach Michael Byrnes confirmed this week.
